Triq Panoramika cliff walk

The Triq Panoramika — the Panoramic Road — runs for over three kilometres along the very edge of the Dingli Cliffs, the highest point on Malta. Half lane, half walking path, it is just wide enough for a single car and quiet enough to walk most of the day without one passing.

The path starts near the Dingli Radar Station and goes south past the St Mary Magdalene Chapel and on toward Ta' Dmejrek — the summit, at 253 metres. The terraced fields fall away on the inland side; on the sea side, there is just the drop, no fence, and the small island of Filfla offshore. The wind blows hard most days. Mid-afternoon to sunset is the best time. Bring water.
