The Alley of Classics is a sculptural promenade featuring busts of notable Moldovan and Romanian literary figures, set in a park in the northern part of the city centre. It's a pleasant spot for a walk and an interesting introduction to names — Eminescu, Creangă, Alecsandri — that are household words in Romania and Moldova but largely unknown outside.
The park is well maintained and popular with local families. It offers a quiet contrast to the busy commercial streets nearby. Worth 20–30 minutes.
