Koigen is Hamar's central lakefront hangout, with a beach, lawns, volleyball, skating space, and direct access to Mjosa. It is not a formal sight, but it explains why locals value the waterfront.
In summer, bring a swimsuit. In cooler weather it still works as a short walk between the station, town centre, and museum side of the lake.
