Trollkyrkja, the "Troll Church", is a cave hike north of Molde where the reward is not a summit but a marble chamber with water falling through the darkness. The approach is a proper walk rather than a roadside stop, with boggy ground in places and mountain weather that can change quickly.
Bring a headlamp or a strong torch, because the cave is the point and phone lights do not do it justice. The trip pairs well with the Atlantic Road or the coast north of Molde, but it deserves enough time to walk carefully and linger inside the cave rather than treating it as a quick photo stop.
