The Old Water Tower stands on a rise west of the centre, a red-brick utility building turned into a small museum. Displays cover the history of Bydgoszcz's waterworks, but the best reason to climb is the view from the top.
The platform gives a useful look over the city centre, the river corridor, and the surrounding districts. It is a short detour from the Old Market and Mill Island if you want a bit of height.
