Adam Mickiewicz Theatre is Cieszyn's historic town theatre, named for the Polish poet and dramatist. Its formal facade and compact auditorium are a reminder of the town's Habsburg-era cultural life, when Cieszyn served both sides of the Olza River.
It is worth checking the programme if you are staying overnight, but even from the outside it adds a handsome stop to a walk through the old centre.
