Góra Birów is the smaller, rougher companion to Ogrodzieniec Castle: a limestone hill with traces of much older settlement and a reconstructed wooden stronghold on top. The climb is short but gives good views back towards the castle and across the broken Jura terrain.
It is worth doing after the main ruin, partly for the different texture. Ogrodzieniec is masonry and drama; Góra Birów is timber, bare rock and open air.
