Przemyśl Castle rises just above the old town, close enough to fold into a simple walk through the centre. The present castle is associated with Casimir the Great, though the hill has older layers beneath it.
Come for the position as much as the rooms. From here the city reads clearly: churches and roofs below, the San valley beyond, and fortress country on the surrounding hills.
