Palace Park and Bison Reserve

Landscaped palace grounds with a European bison reserve

The English-style landscaped park surrounding the palace covers around 156 hectares and is free to enter. It is a pleasant place to walk regardless of the season, with old trees, a lake, and well-kept paths. At the far end of the park is a small reserve where a herd of European bison (żubr) are kept; seeing these massive animals up close is a genuine highlight and something you rarely get without a long drive into a national park. The reserve has a separate entrance fee.
