Elektrownia

Contemporary art centre in a former power plant, showing Radom's post-industrial side.

Elektrownia, formally the Mazovian Centre for Contemporary Art, is Radom's best modern cultural space. Its former power-plant setting gives the exhibitions a harder edge than a white-box gallery, and that suits a city shaped by industry and reinvention.

Check the current programme before going, because the value depends on the exhibition. Even when the show is not to your taste, the building itself adds a useful chapter to a Radom visit: old energy infrastructure turned into a place for new art.
