The Jacek Malczewski Museum is Radom's main museum and the cultural anchor of the old market square. Its collections cover art, archaeology, natural history, and the story of the city, with the name honouring the Symbolist painter Jacek Malczewski, who was born in Radom.
It is a good counterweight to the open-air village museum. There, you get the rural region; here, you get the city trying to explain itself through paintings, local objects, and the layered history of Mazovia.
