Rynek is Radom's old market square and the natural starting point for a walk through the historic centre. It is smaller and quieter than the great Polish squares that fill guidebook covers, but that is part of its usefulness: you can read the city without fighting crowds.
The Jacek Malczewski Museum sits on the square, and several nearby streets lead toward churches, old civic buildings, and nineteenth-century townhouses. Come for context rather than spectacle, then decide whether Radom's rougher honesty is exactly what you wanted from the day.
