This Orthodox church sits close to the castle and adds an important piece to Sanok's story. The town was never just Polish and Catholic; it belonged to a Carpathian borderland of Ruthenian, Lemko, Jewish, and Polish communities.
The church is a modest stop, but it makes the museums around it easier to understand. Pair it with the skansen rather than treating it as a standalone sight.
