Wolsztyn Lake gives the town a softer side after the railway yard. The former Mycielski palace stands by the water with parkland around it, and the lake shore is the obvious place for an easy walk, especially in warm weather.
This is not a grand palace visit in the usual sense, but it helps explain why Wolsztyn feels like more than a railway stop. The water, park, and low town skyline make a good pause between museums.
