A large Catholic parish church built in the early 20th century in a historicist Gothic Revival style, one of the most architecturally significant buildings in Zabrze. The brick exterior is impressive, and the interior retains good original stained glass and fittings. The church was built to serve the rapidly growing industrial population of Zabrze during the peak of the Wilhelmine mining boom.
Worth a quick visit for anyone interested in the religious architecture of the industrial Silesian belt. The surrounding streets still have rows of workers' housing from the same period.
