The Judiaria is the old Jewish quarter on the slope below the castle. Its narrow lanes are not polished into a museum set, which is part of the appeal: the history is in the street pattern, the small houses and the way the quarter folds into the hill.
Walk it slowly between the castle, the synagogue and Fonte da Vila. This is the part of Castelo de Vide that most clearly separates it from a generic pretty hill town.
