Coruche's municipal museum is small but useful, especially if you have arrived with only a vague idea of what Ribatejo is. Its collections cover the town's archaeology, rural life, education, and bullfighting traditions, with the long-running exhibition tying local history to the landscape.
It is also a good first stop before heading out to the cork observatory or the hilltop chapel. The museum gives the plain around Coruche some human scale: farms, work, festivals, and the old river-town rhythm.
