Igreja de São Quintino

Igreja de São Quintino is a 16th-century church in the village of Santo Quintino, just outside Sobral. It is classified as a National Monument and is worth the detour for its Manueline doorway, Renaissance additions, tilework, and calm rural setting.

The church is not large, so check opening times before making a special trip. Even from outside, it adds an older layer to a Sobral visit that might otherwise be entirely about the Peninsular War.
