Nord Kamal Mosque serves Norilsk's Muslim community and is widely noted as one of the northernmost mosques in the world. Its presence is a reminder that this remote industrial city was built by migrants and forced labour from many parts of the Soviet Union.
The building is a short walk from the city centre. Visit respectfully and do not treat it as a novelty photo stop if worshippers are present.
