Sochi Marine Station is one of the city's defining Soviet resort buildings: pale arcades, a central tower, and a waterside setting that turns an ordinary port into a promenade landmark.
It is best seen as part of a central walk, with the harbour, sea wall, cafes, and nearby parks. The architecture is theatrical, which is exactly the point.
