Tylosand is the beach most Swedes associate with Halmstad: a long sweep of sand west of the city, lively in July and August and still worth a walk outside peak season.
Come for swimming and people-watching in warm weather. Windsurfing and kitesurfing also appear when the conditions cooperate.
