Siggebohyttans Bergsmansgård is a preserved mining estate north of Nora, built by the iron-producing elite of Bergslagen. The red timber buildings and furnished rooms show a rural world that was far richer and more connected than the landscape first suggests.
It pairs well with Nora's veteran railway and Pershyttan. Together they explain why this small lakeside town became important: iron, forests, water power, and the people who managed them.
