Gräsö is the easy island escape from Öregrund. The ferry is free, frequent, and short, carrying walkers, cyclists, cars, and locals across to a quieter landscape of forest, small farms, rocky shores, and swimming spots.
Do not expect a grand attraction. The point is the soft Roslagen coast: cycling, walking, picnicking, and slipping away from the busier harbour for a few hours.
