Tom Tits Experiment

Huge hands-on science centre, one of the best of its kind in Sweden

Tom Tits Experiment is a large interactive science centre with over 600 hands-on exhibits spread across five floors. It is one of the biggest science museums in Sweden and draws visitors from across Stockholm County, particularly families with children. The exhibits cover physics, chemistry, biology, and technology — you can generate electricity, operate a crane, test your reaction speed, and walk through a giant digestive system.

The experience is genuinely engaging for adults as well as children, though it skews younger. Plan at least two to three hours. The museum shop and café are decent. Located a short walk north of the city centre, near the canal.
