The Cross at Kenilworth

A converted Victorian pub on the high street that has held a Michelin star for several years. Chef-owner Adam Bennett cooks classical French with restraint and serious technique: turbot, suckling pig, a dessert trolley that earns its space.

The dining room is small and the booking calendar fills weeks ahead. Two AA Rosettes back the Michelin star, and the wine list — heavy on Burgundy and Loire — is the work of someone who cares. A genuine destination restaurant in an unflashy town.
