All Saints is Loughborough's oldest parish church, with medieval origins and a substantial Victorian expansion that gave it the slightly oversized character it has today. The tower is the dominant feature, visible from across the town centre. The interior has a pleasing mix of medieval stonework and Victorian stained glass, and the market town atmosphere of the surrounding streets — Church Gate is a rare survivor of the older street pattern — makes this area worth wandering before or after visiting the church.
The church is open for visitors outside service times. For those with an interest in the bells: All Saints has a peal of twelve bells, several of which were cast at the Taylor foundry nearby.
