Aldeburgh Beach

Aldeburgh Beach is the long shingle strand that gives the town much of its character. It runs north toward Thorpeness and south toward Orford Ness, with fishing boats, huts, and wide North Sea views rather than soft resort sand.

Come for a walk, the sea air, and the open coastal light. It is a good place to understand why Aldeburgh feels more like a working Suffolk shore town than a conventional beach resort.
