DW Stadium

The DW Stadium (now rebranded as the Brick Community Stadium) is where Wigan Warriors play rugby league. The Warriors are one of the most successful clubs in the sport's history, with more Challenge Cup wins than any other team, and watching them on a matchday in autumn or spring is the best way to understand why Wigan people have such fierce pride in their town. The atmosphere in the stands during a close match against traditional rivals like St Helens or Leeds is loud, partisan, and exhilarating.

The stadium also hosts Wigan Athletic football club. Tickets for both sports are available from the club websites. The stadium is about a mile west of the town centre and is served by a direct bus from Wigan bus station on matchdays.
