Bersted Brooks is a small but useful nature reserve of wet meadows, ponds, ditches, and young woodland north of Bognor Regis. It gives the town a quieter inland walk to balance the seafront, pier, and holiday-park side of the destination.
This is a local-scale place, so come for birds, fresh air, and a gentle loop rather than a big attraction. After rain, waterproof shoes are sensible; in spring and summer the wetland edges carry the most life.
