Herschel Park

Herschel Park is a public garden in central Slough, named after William Herschel and laid out on land associated with his observatory. It is the most pleasant green space in the town centre: well-maintained lawns, mature trees, and a bandstand that hosts occasional events in summer. A replica of the mounting for Herschel's 40-foot telescope stands in the park as a memorial to its most famous resident.

The park connects to the wider network of green spaces along the Jubilee River. It is used year-round by locals and provides a quiet contrast to the busy town centre a short walk away.
