The Woldingham School campus occupies Marden Park, a Victorian Gothic mansion with 700 acres of grounds south of the village. The building and estate are not open to the general public except during specific events, but the paths through Marden Park woodland are accessible to walkers following established rights of way. The combination of Victorian architecture glimpsed through mature beech trees makes for an atmospheric walk. The grounds contain some of the oldest chalk downland in Surrey's private hands, with significant populations of downland wildflowers in the managed clearings.

A story
Woldingham School occupies Marden Park, a 700-acre estate whose main house was rebuilt in Victorian Gothic style in the 1880s for Robert Cunliffe, a banker. The school was established here by the Society of the Sacred Heart in 1946, moving from Roehampton. It is one of the few UK boarding schools still run by a religious order, and the grounds — a mix of formal gardens, playing fields, and ancient woodland — are managed as a conservation area.
