A small Iron Age hillfort half a mile west of Dulverton, perched on a steep spur above the Barle valley. The ramparts are still clearly visible despite later quarrying, and the views across the valley make the short uphill climb worthwhile.
There is no formal car park or entry; access is by public footpath. Bring sturdy shoes and expect mud in winter. Scheduled Ancient Monument.
