Also known as Hetty Pegler's Tump, Uley Long Barrow is a reconstructed Neolithic chambered tomb on the high ground above the Severn Vale. It is simple, old, and atmospheric in a way many larger sites are not.
Bring a torch if the chambers are open, and pair it with Woodchester Mansion or a walk on the nearby commons. The lanes are narrow, so do not rush the approach.
