Carn Galver Mine

Carn Galver Mine preserves the ruins of two former tin mine engine houses above the north Penwith coast. The buildings stand close to the road, with sea views behind them and open moorland rising inland.

It is a quick but atmospheric stop on the coastal road west of Zennor, especially for anyone following Cornwall's mining landscape. The ruins are exposed, so they are best visited in clear weather.
