Brueton and Malvern Parks form Solihull's most useful central green space, stretching from ornamental lawns and flowerbeds into quieter woodland and lake paths. It is not a destination to cross the country for, but it is a good reset if you are already in town.
The park works well before or after St Alphege Church, the shopping streets, or a visit to nearby heritage houses. Families use the open lawns, walkers loop the lake, and birdlife around the nature reserve gives the place more texture than a standard civic park.
