Solihull's own historic attractions are modest but genuine: the medieval St Alphege Church and the Tudor-era streets around it give the centre a character worth an hour's walk. The bigger draws are nearby — the National Exhibition Centre, the National Trust properties of Packwood House and Baddesley Clinton, and the Forest of Arden countryside that begins south of the town. Tudor Grange Park is the best green space within easy walking distance of the centre.
