Bryn Celli Ddu

Bryn Celli Ddu is one of Anglesey's most important prehistoric sites: a passage tomb built around 2000 BC on the site of an older Neolithic henge. Visitors can walk into the restored chamber and see how the monument aligns with the midsummer sunrise.

The site is modest in size but memorable, especially if you are tracing the island's ancient ritual landscape.
