The Dingle — Nant y Pandy in Welsh — is a small nature reserve in a wooded river valley just north of Llangefni town centre. The reserve follows the Afon Cefni through a sheltered hollow of mature oak, ash, and alder, a green pocket that feels entirely separate from the flat farmland surrounding the town on almost every side.
It is a short walk from the market square and well-signposted. The path through the valley takes about half an hour at a casual pace. The tree cover makes it good for woodland birds — species harder to find on Anglesey's more exposed landscapes. The path connects to a broader network of riverside walks heading north toward Llyn Cefni.
