Craig y Nos Country Park was once part of Adelina Patti's estate and now gives the village its easiest green walk. Paths run through lawns, woods, ponds, and riverside ground below the limestone slopes of Bannau Brycheiniog.
It is a gentle stop, but a useful one: after the caves and castle, this is where the place opens back out into valley landscape.
