Sygun Copper Mine takes you underground into the old workings east of Beddgelert. It is a good counterpoint to the village's pretty surface: damp tunnels, mineral colours, and the reminder that Snowdonia's valleys were worked as well as admired. It also combines naturally with walks toward Llyn Dinas and Cwm Bychan.
