Zip World Slate Caverns uses the old Llechwedd quarry landscape for underground ropes, caverns, and zip-line rides. It is polished and commercial, but the setting is real: this is slate country, not a theme-park version of it.
The caverns are about a mile north of town. Check opening times and ride status before going, especially outside the main season.
