Our Lady of Guadalupe Co-Cathedral

Belmopan's main Catholic church carries the status of co-cathedral — sharing episcopal rank with the cathedral in Belize City. The building is modern and functional, reflecting the planned-capital character of the town, but it is an active parish church with a steady congregation and one of the few buildings in Belmopan that draws people for reasons other than government business.

Worth a brief visit if you are passing through the town centre. The interior is simple, with good natural light. The church grounds are among the more pleasant spots in an otherwise utilitarian urban landscape.
