Majohnny Hill is one of Jost Van Dyke's better viewpoints, giving walkers a look over the island's coves, ridges, and surrounding British Virgin Islands. The climb is part of the experience: short by mountain standards, but steep enough to make the view feel earned.
Go early or late to avoid the hardest sun, and bring water. From the top, Jost Van Dyke looks less like a beach-bar stop and more like a rugged little island with a surprisingly dramatic interior.
