A family-run steakhouse on the corner of Connaught Drive and Hazel Avenue, Villa Caruso has been a Jasper fixture for years. The atmosphere is warm and unpretentious -- checked tablecloths, wood-panelled walls, and staff who clearly enjoy what they do.
The steaks are the main event, cooked well and generously portioned. The rack of lamb and the pasta dishes are also solid. It fills up quickly in summer, so booking ahead is wise. A good choice after a long day on the trails.
