Alberta Prairie Railway Excursions is the strongest reason to visit Stettler. The train leaves town, runs through open prairie country, and returns after several hours. Trips often include a meal, on-board entertainment, and themed touches such as a staged train robbery.
Check the schedule before you come. Without a running excursion, Stettler is a much shorter stop.
