Stony Plain and Parkland Pioneer Museum is the town's main heritage stop. Its collection of historic buildings, farm equipment, domestic displays, and recreated town spaces gives useful context to the farming communities west of Edmonton.
It is a family-friendly museum, but not just for children. The old machinery and small-town exhibits make Stony Plain's mural history feel less abstract.
