Alberta's main draws are its national parks, and they genuinely earn the hype. From the fossil-rich badlands in the south to the enormous boreal wilderness of Wood Buffalo in the north, the province packs in an unlikely range of landscapes. The Rockies get most of the attention, but don't overlook the UNESCO-designated parks east of Edmonton and Calgary.
