The Vulcan and District Museum and Archives is the useful corrective to the town's space theme. Its displays cover the farming, school, newspaper, medical, and communications history of Vulcan and the surrounding district.
It is a modest volunteer-run museum, but that suits the place. After the starship photos, it explains what Vulcan was before it became Canada's Star Trek capital.
