100 Mile House sits on Highway 97 (the Cariboo Highway), which is the main road north from Kamloops through the Cariboo plateau. The drive from Kamloops is about 185 km (roughly two hours). From Vancouver, the route goes via Kamloops — about 400 km total, a four-to-five hour drive.
There is no scheduled air service to 100 Mile House. Greyhound Canada previously served the route; check current bus schedules as services change. Most visitors arrive by car, which also gives the flexibility to explore the surrounding lakes and back roads.
