Comox Air Force Museum

Aviation museum on the perimeter of CFB Comox

The base air-force museum on the eastern edge of CFB Comox covers the history of Canadian military aviation on the west coast since the founding of the station in 1942. An outdoor heritage airpark behind the museum displays more than a dozen retired aircraft, from a CF-100 Canuck interceptor to a CP-121 Tracker maritime patrol plane.

The museum is free; the airpark requires a small donation. Both close on weekends when the base hosts large events.
